Former Jammu Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti was on Thursday re-elected as president of the People’s Democratic Party for three years.
Mehbooba Mufti was reelected as president at party headquarters in Srinagar while the election process was done through a voice vote.
PDP Vice President Abdul Rehman Veeri proposed the name of Mehbooba Mufti as the president, which was seconded by party general Secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura.
Mehbooba Mufti has been elected as the party president president consecutively for the 4th term with the elections held after every three years.
