The Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has issued a statement, reassuring metered consumers across all categories that the recently passed tariff order by the Jammu and Kashmir Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for the current financial year will have no impact on their electricity bills.
The announcement comes in response to the concerns raised by residents and businesses following the release of the new tariff order by the JERC. The KPDCL, in its clarification, seeks to dispel any uncertainties over electricity rates for consumers.
The KPDCL stated that the implementation of the new tariff order will not translate into increased financial burden for metered consumers.
Emphasizing transparency and consumer confidence, the KPDCL reiterated its dedication to providing a reliable and cost-effective power supply to the region.
