The Srinagar Police has issued a public advisory urging people to use its Police Verification Helpline exclusively for verification-related inquiries. This includes services such as passport verification, private or government employee verification, Police Clearance Certificates (PCC), and tenant verification within the jurisdiction of District Srinagar.
Srinagar Police emphasized the overwhelming response their helpline numbers receive daily and urged people to refrain from using these helplines for matters unrelated to police verification services.
“We kindly request that these helplines be used strictly for inquiries or assistance related to VERIFICATION service only,” a police statement reads.
People with other grievances or concerns have been urged to approach the appropriate channels or departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
The verification helpline operates on all working days from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. People have been asked to reach out via Call or WhatsApp at the following numbers:
