A rare partial lunar eclipse was visible in the sky above New Jersey early Friday morning, providing sky-watchers a pre-dawn show. The eclipse created what many observers call a “blood moon” because of the rusty-reddish colors of the sunlight reflecting off the Earth’s atmosphere and onto the moon.
