London: Ukrainian forces have recapture ‘key terrain’ in north

Ukrainian forces have retaken “key terrain” from Russian troops in the north of the country, Britain’s Ministry of Defence said in its latest intelligence assessment of the war. “Low-level fighting is likely to continue in some of the newly recaptured regions, but diminish significantly this week as the remainder of the Russian forces withdraw,” the bulletin says. The Defence Ministry said the Russian troops will likely need “significant re-equipping and refurbishment” before they redeploy for anticipated operations in the east of the country.
