A youth lost his life, and his brother sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the Damtal area of Punjab. The accident resulted in critical injuries to both individuals.
According to officials, the incident occurred around 10 PM on Tuesday when a vehicle struck the two brothers. They were immediately rushed to a hospital, where one was declared ‘brought dead,’ while the other is currently undergoing treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Sharafat Ahmad Khan, and the injured as Rifakat Ahmad Khan, both residents of Brariangan Shangus, Anantnag.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident, officials added.
