Cyber Police Kashmir has issued a stern warning to social media influencers and YouTubers, urging them to avoid promoting betting apps, fraudulent investment schemes, and fake job offers.
In a post shared on the micro-blogging platform X, Cyber Police Kashmir stated:
“Attention Social Media Influencers & YouTubers: Avoid endorsing betting apps, fraudulent investment schemes, or fake work-from-home job opportunities. Such activities mislead the public and are punishable under the law.”
The post emphasized that Cyber Police Kashmir is actively monitoring these actions and will not hesitate to take strict legal action against anyone found promoting such deceptive platforms. Influencers and content creators were urged to act responsibly and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
