Srinagar, May 29: The Delhi High Court on Monday issued a notice to Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Yasin Malik, seeking the death penalty against the separatist leader.

The notice was issued against the plea by the National Investigation Agency seeking death penalty for the JKLF leader. The NIA Friday approached the Delhi High Court seeking the death penalty for Malik.

The JKLF chief was earlier awarded a life term by a trial court in a militant funding case last year.
