Hakeem Yaseen urges for adequate CBMs to bridge the gap of mistrust

Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front ( JKPDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohd Yaseen has urged  for strengthening bonds of mutual trust and understanding between the Centre and people of jammu and kashmir adding that people’s political and developmental needs  should be fulfilled as per thier urges and aspirations .

     Speaking at a meeting of party workers and senior citizens of Parnewa ,Wager ,Shooru  and Nuner areas of Khansahib constituency in central kashmir Budgam on Sunday ,Hakeem Yaseen has strongly vouched for bridging the gap of mistrust  between Center and people of jammu and kashmir adding that it was imperative to remove feeling of alienation . He said people of jammu and kashmir have been repeatedly  betrayed by the centre in the past and now  down – grading the status of the state to Union territory level have not only humiliated but also put them in a shock of uncertainity both  politically as well as  pscychologically .  ” People of jammu and Kashmir are reeling in a dark era  of political and social uncertainity and feel beteayed ,” Hakeem Yaseen observed while urging the center to take concrete steps to remove alienation among people. He said  restoration of democracy and statehood were the basic Confidence Building Measures ( CBM ) in this regard. He said Center should change law’s to empower Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people rather than changing them to downgrade Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people.
     PDF Chairman said that  government has miserably failed to provide basic services to the people adding that non availability of  adequate power , drinking water and ration has put them to great hardships and miseries . He said road network all over the  kashmir especially in khansahib and Budgam areas was in total shambles  which has put commuters especially daily passengers  ,students and patients to great inconvenience . ” Un- employment and skyrocketing prices of essential commodities were  another vital sectors of great public importance where government has utterly failed to deliver  ,” Hakeem Yaseen added. He said restoration of democracy was the only option for the process  of peace and development in turmoil hit jammu and kashmir.
     Hakeem Yaseen asked the party functionaries to educate people about the mechanations of the political parties who thrive on lies ,deciet and emotional exploitation  . These parties want to divide communities on religious and regional basis to satiate thier vested interests. ” It was our moral duty to expose and isolate such elements ,” Hakeem Yaseen maintained.
