Multiple landslides, triggered by incessant rains, have obstructed the vital Jammu-Srinagar Highway, officials reported today.
These landslides, occurring between the Banihal and Ramban sectors, have severely disrupted traffic flow. Compounded by heavy rainfall along the entire highway, travel has become increasingly hazardous.
Authorities have advised against traveling on NH-44 until weather conditions improve and debris is cleared from the road.
