Kashmir University postpones UG exams after summer holidays

The University of Kashmir (KU) has postponed all undergraduate exams for the 2nd and 4th semesters that were scheduled for July 15 and 16, following the announcement of a summer break in Kashmir colleges.

The Assistant Controller of Examinations at KU issued an order stating that the exams were postponed due to the summer vacation in the Kashmir division colleges. “It is notified for the information of all UG Candidates of 2nd and 4th Semesters that their examinations scheduled to be held from 15-07-2024 and 16-07-2024 respectively have been postponed due to summer break in the Colleges,” the order reads.

Revised date sheets will be issued separately.

Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department announced a summer vacation for all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone areas of the Jammu division, from July 15 to July 24. Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Alok Kumar, confirmed that the vacation period will be observed from July 15 to July 24.
