Lagos has completed all preparations for the 6th edition of the only women’s marathon in Sub-Saharan Africa, dubbed “Lagos Women Run,” which will take place on November 13th, 2021. Mr. Olusola Aiyepeku, Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC), stated this at a press conference held on Thursday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, noting that the inclusion of women in all sectors is a core agenda of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-administration.
