Srinagar, August 21:
Two militants including an LeT commander were killed during an encounter with security forces in the Pulwama district with their bodies not recovered yet.
The encounter started in Larrow- Parigam area. Search operation at gunfight site resumed after being suspended for night in Parigam area on Monday morning.
A top police officer said that the operation was suspended yesterday due to darkness, however the cordon was strengthened around the encounter spot.
As the first light of this morning came in, the search operation was resumed. He further said that its dense paddy field and operation may take longer time than usual.
Yesterday, a gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Parigam area.(GNS)
