France has put forward an amendment to legalise online casino games, a move that could boost struggling state finances. The government suggested the measure as part of the draft budget for 2025, submitted at the weekend. The text was examined by the National Assembly on Monday. If passed, virtual casino games would be taxed at 55.6% of their turnover.
