Srinagar, Mar 30:
A son has allegedly killed his mother in Sopore area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
They said a youth strangulated his mother to death in Dangarpora village in Sopore area on intervening Wednesday and Thursday night.
Soon after the commission of crime, the accused son, who is said to be a drug addict, was arrested within hours, an official said.
The body has been shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, for medico-legal.
“We are looking into all possible angles regarding the incident”, an official said adding, “Once any further details are available, same will be shared accordingly.” (GNS inputs)
