Srinagar, Mar 29: The Tyndale Biscoe school has warned parents against airing views against institution on social media.

The school has said that “We have been made aware that a significant number of you are active on various unofficial school/Class WhatsApp groups. Kindly note that parents should not use social media as a tool to air any concerns or grievances about the school.”

The school said that online activity which the school considers inappropriate
includes:
• Identifying or posting images/videos of pupils
• Abusive or personal comments about staff, pupils or other parents
• Bringing the school into disrepute
• Posting defamatory or libellous comments
• Using social media to publicly challenge school policies or discuss issues about
individual children/Staff Unfortunately, sometimes message threads get out of hand, and people can become
misinformed. Such WhatsApp groups are not appropriate places to share comments, messages and views
from others. Further,
• Please raise your concern with the concerned Department I/c for proper redressal.
• TBMS Society takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously and will deal with any
reported incidents appropriately. We expect each one of you to maintain the Schools’ integrity.

The warning has come as the parents have been raising a number of issues. Recently the parents protested that the school was detaining the students in lower classes because of the age limit under the new education policy (NEP).
