Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has unveiled a phased winter vacation plan for educational institutions in the Kashmir Valley.
Starting November 28, 2023, winter vacations for students up to 8th standard will extend until February 29, 2024. Subsequently, for students in classes 9th to 12th, the winter break will commence from December 11, 2023, and conclude on February 29, 2024.
According to the official order, teaching staff members are expected to return to their respective schools on February 21, 2024. This stipulation aims to ensure their availability for making necessary arrangements pertaining to the preparation of upcoming examinations.
